Gnangara is an Aboriginal word, the meaning and origin of which is not known, although possibly meaning ‘spring’. The Gnangara wines derive their name from the lake and related aquifer that fed the original Gnangara Shiraz vineyards in the Swan Valley and is a source of drinking water for Perth.
COLOUR. Deep, dark purple with red hues.
AROMA. Mulberry and black fruits with pungent white pepper.
PALATE. Unmistakeable Shiraz flavours of dark cherry, blood plum and mulberry are balanced by warm, toasty cedar spice.
CELLARING. Drinking at its best within five years of release.
